Shipping
We aim to dispatch items in stock within two days of receiving your order. If you need a speedy service please contact elise@mclauchlanmade.com and we'll do our best to get it to you sooner. Occasionally some items we have online are made to order. These orders will take 1-2 weeks, please note that although the wood shape and size will be the same, wood grain may differ. Please see items description for in stock and made to order items. Custom items may take 2-3 weeks.
We ship internationally but please be aware that as we are based in Canada there may be import taxes. Responsibility of this payment is with the purchaser and we do not offer reimbursements or pay any import charges.
Shipping costs vary according to country and package size . We would be happy to give you a shipping quote before purchase. We also have a free local pick up option. Just send us an email.
Product care
Your bowl should wear beautifully and last a lifetime providing you follow the care instructions provided to you with your bowl.
Avoid soaking the wood in water, when washing dry the wood off after. If the wood appears dry, which will happen over time, use a beeswax or natural oil to bring back its shine. Any water marks can be removed by using a light sandpaper in a circular motion and pop a bit of oil or wax on. Any other issues please contact elise@mclauchlanmade.com
All bowls are handturned by Elise Mclauchlan using local wood. They are finished in either a mineral oil, beeswax or 100% Tung oil making them food safe. Al products are branded at the bottom and come with a care guide card. .
Refunds and exchanges
We really want you to be happy with your product and we're happy to discuss any issues you have.
Please get in touch via email to elise@mclauchlanmade.com to discuss an exchange or gift voucher for Mclauchlan Made. We only offer refunds in exceptional circumstances. Before returning please be sure to have the exchange approved.
If the item you received is defective or has been damaged during transit,please email elise@mclauchlanmade.com and we'll inform you of the necessary steps to take.
Please note all items are made to order and may differ slightly in size, wood grain and shape compared to the website photo. We believe the joy of handmade is one of a kind!
