This is a one on one class based in my Montreal Study to learn enough of the fundamentals of woodworking to continue the practice in your own time.

The class will begin with a safety run down and basic insight into tools we will use as well as the lathe itself. The course will begin by cutting wood to size on the band saw and drilling the holes the runners before mounting the piece on the lathe to begin turning the shelf sides. Here you will learn basic woodturning skills. We will glue up each shelf side and leave to dry. The shelves will then be hand cut and sanded. We will add hardware and oil at the end of the class. You’ll go home with a lot more confidence and knowledge of woodworking and a new set of shelves!
